About

I recently joined Google on the Production Security team after finishing my Ph.D. I earned my doctorate in computer science and engineering from the University of Michigan where I was advised by Professor J. Alex Halderman.

My thesis was largely focused on HTTPS and PKI with the ultimate chapter being on my work within Let's Encrypt and its protocol, ACME. More generally, I am interested in creating practical security solutions for the masses. I am an EFF Technology and STIET fellow.

I did my undergraduate work at Vanderbilt University, where I received a B.A. double majoring in Economics and Computer Science. While there, I was a three-year letter winner in cross country. In my free time, I enjoy flying and running semi-competitively.
