Running

I enjoy running. I ran cross country at Vanderbilt and became more serious in graduate school while being coached by Ryan Warrenburg out of Zap Endurance. Launching Let's Encrypt, finishing my thesis, and starting my career at Google put a damper on running as many miles as I would have liked. I still enjoy running socially and trying to compete with the time I have.

Skiing

I only learned to ski after moving out to California, but it has become one of my favorite activities. In particular, I enjoy challenging myself to improve and make it down more difficult slopes with the goal to be able to explore more of the mountains with my wife.
